Sometimes our lives roll out to include events we didn't chose, like stumbling stones on a path that seemed our own. Strength is in making them part of who we are. Once woven into our path, they draw others to look into us, and us into them. They draw us to each other.

The textures are wonderful, with a lot of graceful curves and lines. I'm wondering how it would look in B&W too

Love this shot mate. The top left third is exquisitely sharp and clear and the whole thing is full of texture and contrasts.

Beautiful nature shot, it has a quiet strength (no pun intended). Excellent clarity and composition, Quiet.

Nice words and the perfect analogy to go with this photo. The detail and color gives a richness to this.A work of art I would say.

Saw this in the voting booth and had to comment, Great looking picture, I've never saw driftwood with stones in it, nice sentiment also.

There is such a force that has brought these two together, the stones and the wood....bonding forever. I just enjoy this a lot.It makes me want to go to the beach all the more, to find some of these lovelies. I especially like the "added bonus' of the tiny bit of natural skybloo...Nature has it's way of presenting thoughts to us, things that make our thinking different and often stronger. Thank you for a thought provoking photo. Verena
