May is a beautiful time to get to Banff. Prepare to be humbled, though. You get a real sense for how small and how temporal you are.

Quiet, I got this in the VB and was very impressed. And not just with the magnificent view! Your comp, the clarity and the lighting combine for a view of nature at its best. Wonderful shot.

Much of the beauty in life is found in people who care.
I recognised those peaks as soon as I saw the thumbnail on the front page (kudos btw). The way the lush dark green provides a contrasting foreground works really well, and the cold mist/ clouds around the peaks is a sight to behold. Seeing this shot reminds me of how much I want to go back and shoot some more..much more..up in Banff and Lake Louise. I know you must've had a blast :o)
