I have to admit my ignorance of geography and looked on the net to find out where Grenoble was Raphael! It is a huge city by the looks of it! The day is quite hazy I can see so you did well go capture so much, but I think on a clear day you would be able to see the whole expanse and the mountains clearly! I hope you get the opportunity to post another photo!
"Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile" .... mygallery
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
That's a beautiful view of your city.
It could appear in textbooks as an example of urbanization of the mountain environment.
Congratulations for this shot.
Wow! What an impressive shot! The haze gives it an incredible ambiance contrasting the textures between the intricacy of the city and the softness blanketing the craggy mountain peaks. Very well composed with the angle of the street pulling the eye through the city and off into the distance. Excellent photography Raphael!
