I really like this. The composition is great, with the cross positioned slightly left and also tilted a tad. And it really looks good against the cloud filled sky. Why is it where it is? It doesn't look like a cemetary or a church yard. Just curious.

I completely agree with Jim's comment and I also like that the hill is dark and rougher on one side and lighter and smoother on the side the cross is on. This image seems very deep to me as if portraying the question, "What will become after death?" "Heaven beyond? or...

Nice shot guy ! A barren frozen land where men came to build a place of worship for passers-by ! The crowd in the far away distance slightly contrasts with the bright and light becoming sky ! May be something is about to appear or the door to the unknown is ajar !!
