Stitch view of the Lincoln Memorial by the side of the National World War II Memorial on a beautiful August afternoon. Enjoy and thanks for the feedback! ~Rich
Hi Rich, love the idea, it seems like an ideal setting for a wide pano like this. I hate to be the one to point out that your photo tilts to the left, particularly problematic with such wide lines. The bright sunlight has given this a particular tonal quality, faded sky and dark foliage, it has an almost other worldly quality which might be appropriate for this particular subject's mythic qualities.
Mikel.
Good work stitching this together. I like the composition, though because of the direction of sunlight, the memorial itself is a little washed out with the sky as a backdrop. I know that's not something you could help given the time of day, though. I do really like the composition, though. As Mikel says, it has an almost other worldly quality about it.
