Leatherleaf Mahonia (Mahonia bealei) is a large shrub with holly-like, bluish leaves and many upright stems. At first, the berries are a light green color. And, as the berries progress, they gradually turn a soft sky-blue color. This formation of berries, was found next to a building where I work. The colors just drew me to it,and I couldn't resist photographing it.

Great image! The lighting is perfect for the color contrasts, and the composition is really good too, taking advantage of the natural curves of the stems to create an origination point at the 1/3 position of the photo. You also did a good job selecting your aperture, because the background washed out nicely.
