I mentioned this on your "Dahlia" posting, but the lesson is even more emphatic here: if people are wondering what a well-focused photo looks like, or want to measure their own work against an appropriate benchmark, this is it! (How in the world did you get EVERY petal so sharp?)

A perfectly shot dahlia - and the frame suits so very well.
This colour just exudes sunshine and the clarity is superb.

These are again among my favorite flower, but then they're all so pretty!! You've done an excellent job here, but she's not really alone. I see some of her sisters are getting ready to take over for her when she's finished her song :)

This is such a well photographed flower image. Everything is right about it and the flower looks like perfection. Great color, great clarity.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

My favorite flower, which have trouble growing in Fl. Your shot is picture perfect. Love the depth of the petals and shaping of the new ones to open. Great capture!!!
