"Where there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~Dorothea Lange
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Have to agree with the above comments regarding your composition Raj.
The clean and elegant look works well here.
Now, if I can be my usual obnoxious self ... just kidding a bit, I hope ... a couple of things for some food for thought.
Masking. No easy away around this editing step. Think you did a very good job and perhaps, as a suggestion ... some use of the blur tool on the edging would soften the transition from the bloom itself to the background.
And forgive me here, as I can't quite recall which image editing program/software you use ... however, in Photoshop ... from the 'Filter' drop down menu, go to ... Render >> Lighting Effects.
Think you could enhance the natural look of the 'lighting' ... and I must say, however, that you did a remarkable job using just a gradient to do so on the background element.
The thinking here is to make the lighting, shadows et al ... a bit more uniform across your composition. Experiment with the various options and settings.
That said ... I do like the beauty of the flower you captured and find your design and incorporation of the textured background element works quite well.
Nice work.
And but of course, thanks for sharing your creative efforts with us. :o)
