This here is Don M. Duck - His middle name is Macho. Don was the proud Casanova of the lake, secretly admired even by the married Daisys and envied by all the males, even the old ones like uncle Scrooge. He is still in the prime of his life and until now thought nothing of making a pass even at the married ladies in the lake. He has been challenged by many a jealous husband , sometimes even without proof or reason but mostly the encounter ended up with the husband later calling on old Doc D. Until now - until Don made the mistake of his life!

This sunny afternoon while he was cruising about the lake his eyes fell on this young beauty. He quacked once and opened extra nozzles to charge towards her. The young miss smiled and did not try to avoid him. As Don made his amorous advances (without the usual niceties as his style is) he heard a loud hue and cry! To his great astonishment he saw - his present wife, three ex-wives, his mother-in-law and one ex mother-in-law – all approaching at top speed and quacking away at him! They cornered him and berated him with loud quacks. Then, and only then did poor Don know that his latest conquest was an under age teenager! The females pushed him to this corner and poor Don hung his head in shame. Alas, he won’t be the lake’s Romeo any more!

I wrote this to encourage our friend Tick to continue writing his narratives since he mentioned that he might give up writing them altogether. I like his yarns.

You crack me up RAJ. The narrative is so very good and it fits the photo so nicely. With encouragement like this, how can I quit.
I noticed how much I enjoyed reading your narrative and thought if people enjoyed mine half as much, it would be worth it. Great photo of the shameless quacker by the way.

Dear me, Raj. You're infected now. This is as clear a case of Tickitis as I've ever seen. If you take to your bed and stay there for a few days you might just get better. Great picture of the duck though!

He may look like he's hanging his head in shame, but I think he is picking fleas off his feathers. LOL.. Good work, Raj. I enjoyed your fractured fairy tale.

This post made me smile Raj. Suppose to recognize some 'Tick-influences', lol. Anyhow a great story and a very fine image!
Regards, Cornelius.
PS: To me Tick has to continue the things in which he's very good: writing excellent narratives. A lot of people enjoy it very much. I'll blame him for quiting, lol.

Poor Don!! He looks so dejected.
No actually, serves him right -

A timely capture and the narrative is hilarious.

A great shot, Raj! You write so well and it seems your imagination has been stirred. I know I wanted to find the outcome of this little duck's adventure as I read your lines.
You are so funny. I think Tick got the message. lol

Maybe this duck can learn from his mistakes...We all are given that option in life...Me? Well, some of us learn via the seat of our pants...being that's the quickest route to one's brain!...Nice capture, and story...
