Raj - The greatest pleasure on this trip is for the woman in the middle - she doesn't have to operate the paddles. I agree with Richie - the passengers make a pleasant view. Oh yes, and so does the tree lined canal (:-)). Thad

Really wonderful place, Raj. Very nicely taken with this shining water. Of these three kind of boats, this women powered one might be very charming but I'd prefer the motorboat. I bet it would be more quiet and safe. :)

It would be such a pleasant experience to take a ride like this especially when the view is so garden like and lush. Of course, pretty ladies adds a lot to the scenery for some too. lol I didn't know Hamburg had canals like this. Thanks for the narrative explaining as well.
