This would work well in the Balance contest, Raj. Birds always have good balance. I have never seen one fall from being off balance. I wonder if they do sometimes??? Very nice shot, Raj.

If birds daydream, then this one is doing just that Raj. What a cute capture.

A delightful little yellowhammer Raj.

Early this century bounties were offered for these birds in NZ as they had become such a pest (eating grain) since their introduction in the 1860's.They are not such a problem now. Occassionally I get a whole flock of them descend on my pineapple sage but I have never been quick enough to get a photo of any.

They are very fast movers so well done on this capture :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . .
