Richie may be right, it's anyhow a species of the Scrophulariacea family, lol.

Very fine F² image, Raj.

It looks like a Purple Slurple to me Raj. We used to get them at the local ice cream shop. :)
Great color contrast for the F² post.

Looks like butterflies clinging to a stalk. It sure is a pretty flower, but I have never seen it befor unless it is a variety of another more well know flower. I hope you find out what it is, Raj. Very pretty shot.

I think this is a "Heath Spotted Orchid or Moorland Spotted Orchid". We have them here in Sweden too. They are wild Orchids growing in meadows and in grassy places in the forest.
A beautiful flower and shot Raj.

The butterfly shapes on the petals are so intriguing.
A gorgeous splash of colour against the soft green background Raj.

(Dactylorhiza fuchsii - Common Spotted Orchid - I think ! But Tick's Purple Slurple sounds great)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
