In Germany there is a saying : "Leave the thinking to the horses - they have bigger heads". This stallion seems to be lost in thought. He wasn't dozing.

Great shot Raj you used the lighting very well . He's keeping his eye on you ...just in case he needs to protect the herd. I like the German saying. In the US you will hear some say " He or she has no horse sense " . One of my favorites is by W.C. Fields . " Horse sense is the thing a horse has which keeps it from betting on people. " Great post !

If you look into his one eye, you can tell that he's thinking of new and creative ways to get the most grain out of the bucket next time you have it! Seen this look before - better watch out :)
