This photo (taken on the west coast of India a few years ago) of a fisherman and his son tells a story - a story of hard work and poverty - casting nets all day in the very hot sun only to come up with almost empty nets and a meagre catch at the end of the day.

Raj - The near silhouette of the fishermen and their empty nets against the hazy and humid background is poignant. Best wishes in the contest. Thad

Very serene scene with the fogginess in the background and the almost silhouette of the fishermen, the long shadows in the foreground and seeing them from an out shore perspective all add up to a very interesting image. Best of luck in the contest.
