It need not be a horse always. The Equus Asinus also known as Donkey can also have its place on caedes.

The donkey is a very useful animal in many countries and definitely earns its place at Caedes. This is a very nice photo
with very good light and colors.

Beautiful shot, Raj. He is a good looking Jack . I have had the privilege of training a couple Jennies. While they can be a bit on the stubborn side , they are very smart and like the horse once you have won their confidence you have made a life long friend. I have a friend who has a Jack her horses all seem to be amazed at his strange language . His braying gets their attention every time. Several farmers and ranches use Donkey's in the states to protect their live stock as well as using them as pack animals in the mountains. I am seeing more of them and the Mule being used for riding . Wonderful post and yes there is room for this member of the Equus family .

Beautiful little donkey. You captured it well against the dark background Raj.

My friend breeds donkeys and they are delightful creatures. I always look forward to a new arrival. One of her older ones visits Old Peoples Homes and also attends church on Christmas Eve and St Francis's day.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The donkey will always have its place. Its place in history is well stated.
