It's a lovely pastoral shot Raj. I can't speak for the Geese, but I've watched Crows gang up on a Owl two to three times their size, to drive it out of their nesting sites. Of course, the Owl was eating their eggs :-)
I have watched the swans and the geese interact at Atascadero Lake. Swans are definitely the dominant waterfowl on the lake. The swans around here are white though although I don't think it's a socioeconomic thing.
It's a beautiful scene. Great place for a picnic although you have to watch where you walk and sit when you're around geese. Their digestive systems can really make things slippery.
Looks like the black swan is getting ready to ruffle its feathers. I know swans can be very territorial at times, but the geese to be doing well on their own. Wonderful capture, Raj. Love the detail.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
