This is a photo from last Sunday. It was a sunny day with no wind and so I thought I would take a boat trip and take some photos. Look at that crowd! They are mostly tourists. When I saw that I gave up the idea.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
I can understand that people from e.g. Bayern are fond of a boat ride. I understand from your narrative that you had the intention to do a photo shoot by boat, but I understand very well too that you've said 'No Thanks' under these crowded conditions.
Nice capture Raj, showing that a lot of people still appreciate the charm and atmosphere of Hamburg.

Sometimes we live where it is so beautiful it is difficult to enjoy because of the crowds. Folks are so mobile these days. Good shot of your good intentions, Raj. Hope your wife is doing well.
I seem to notice that the majority of them guys waiting for the boat watches you with great interest :) What have you been wearing if I may ask or maybe you were carrying some special photographic equipment that arose sensation over there ....? LOL Beautiful, fine and crisp image, Raj dear. With lots of questions opened ... :) SAM & SAAB
It's the same at our waterfront with crowds wanting a ferry boat ride across the lake so I very seldom do it anymore...lovely lighting and color, Raj, and very interesting shot.
Lovely clear photograph with such good detail Raj, I envy you the blue skies! As for the crowds that's what makes a city, I've noticed an awful lot of artists here loath the general public in their shots but in this context I think you should ignore that. (o:
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By. Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
