Harbour Ferry with local people and tourists. A day ticket in Hamburg costs $8/- (€ 6/-) and with that ticket you can use the buses, suburban trains and certain ferries all day till 3A.M next morning. Driving from place to place is difficult because of parking problem and cost.

We have a similar system here Raj...Over 60's now have an exemption pass..where we can travel on local services 'free' after 9.30am

I notice you are travelling to see the 'Phantom of the Opera'..lol

Looks like a fun outing and reasonable prices too...I have not priced our ferry boat rides here in Toronto for a long time but would be willing to bet it is not so favorable...lovely shot, Raj.

If you stare at an orange juice container because it says, "CONCENTRATE"...you might be a redneck.

What a great way to get around Hamburg. Nice to see Webber's Phantom is still going strong in theaters.

Think that the local authorities of the major cities in my country have to consult their colleagues in Hamburg in order to know how they can reduce their prices for public transport.

Very nice addition to a good series Raj!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

My favorite movie of all time is Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom Of The Opera. Did they play the music from it on the cruise? Very interesting looking boat, and a great looking shot, Raj.
