Awesome capture, Raj. They have balloon festivals around here every year, and I have yet to go. Like I always say though...One of these days. lol. Wonderful entry for the contest.

At a balloon festival here, the weather was so hot, 115F degrees I recall (the actual heat index could have been even higher), that the balloons would not lift off! I never heard of such a thing.
Anyway, this is a great entry with the colorful balloon against the cloudy sky.

Started to go up in one of them quite a few years back.....Bugger wouldn't (Couldn't?) get of the ground!.....

That is one thing on my bucket list that I would love to try. A beautiful image of this colorful balloon against the stunning sky. I can't help the singing in my head of the song " Up, Up and a way in my beautiful balloon .......".

Nice picture and and novel idea for showing a little space in a big space. I tried this once, crossed the Mississippi in a hot air balloon, very scenic.
