One of the Puffer fish Genus..I had a close encounter with one of these when stationed in Little Aden..It puffed itself up and looked real strange..It's a good one..R.

I've never seen a Diodon Holocanthus in real, like Richie did, Raj. I don't envy this situation however, because I prefer to see it on a (good) picture, like this one, ☺ .

Wonderful shot, Raj. For some reason the inch of glass between you and the fish seems to have been removed for this detailed and quite clear shot. I was going to say something about "Diodon Holocanthus" but decided to maintain my course and lean towards the conservative.
Dorothy Michaels: No, just Dorothy. Alan's always Alan, Tom's always Tom and John's always John. I have a name too. It's Dorothy, capital D-O-R-O-T-H-Y.
What a sensational looking creature! It looks like it's in the middle of evolving into something else. Quills, camouflage coloring, fins like leaves, puffs up, and eyes that look like they came out of an alien encounter.
Poor guy, looks like he's got on owie on his tail though. :(
Dorothy is right, that sense of glass is missing. Maybe he was in an open tank? Or are you just getting that good, Raj?
