I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Raj, hope that a Dixieland / Jazz band is playing on the Mississippi Queen to create an appropriate atmosphere, ☺ .
Good capture of this floating 'piece' of nostalgia!

The shadows are dark Raj, some people object to that. People can be strange huh!

Progress equals a trashed planet since mankind is too busy altering it. BTW find the classic definition of Caedes here. Enjoy yourself today because you don't know what tomorrow may bring. (o:

Someone named Raj posted this very shot of Facebook. I like it just as much now as I did then. Having ridden the Mississippi Queen and other steam paddleboats up and down the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers, this shot brings back good memories.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The beautiful old showboats are so much fun to ride on & listen to the paddle wheel & water. I was on one a few time in Kentucky, it was called the Belle of Louisville

I like to take the fall cruise on the paddleboat The Spirit of Peoria when I visit my son. This is a wonderful shot! Makes me wish I were there.
