That usually happens Raj...even other ducks/swans and Heron's are a danger to them!..Momma looks as if she is staying close to this one!

Great picutre of the family. Living on a lake, we have a few family of ducks. My girlfriend had been following one mother and her brood. Sadly she lost all her offspring. Such is nature.
