The ice breaker "Stettin" is a steam driven vessel built in 1933. She has 2200 PS and is no longer on active duty.but is still fully operable. She makes short trips for those who are interested to see a steam engine and see how a ship was handled in the old days. My first ship as a cadet had a similar engine

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Must be wonderful to see the steam engine working again, Raj. Maritime nostalgia in 'optima forma' to me. Just wonderful!

So this is where you learned to "let off a little steam," Raj!
It makes a good "ice breaker," photo.

She looks to be in great shape for being built in 1933 Raj - I like the angle on this shot.

Magnificent shot of this wonderfully kept old ice breaker - the ones we have here seem to look a little smaller in length.
