It looks like it had stopped and was watching me. A fish is neither an animal nor a bird. So which category should a fish belong to?

Since it lives in water, I would use the water category Raj. Wikipedia says they are limbless animals.
You got a worms eye view of this Raj. You need to get a Fisheye lens. Good photo by the way.

Nice clear view of a piranha. I always like how their scales look like flecks of gold.

Nice clear capture of this chubby guy, almost looks like he's trying to give you a smile, Raj...well done.

Looks like its giving you a big, toothy grin too - a camera ham!

Technically, an animal ... by human categorization. But if you ask a fish, it will tell you that it considers itself to be a member of the secret society of superior sea beings.

Nice photograph, Raj! I like the texture of the sparkly scales in the light and cognizant awareness behind those amber eyes.

Yes, it definitely has its eye on you Raj - making sure you selected the correct category !
A splendid selection of textures ad colours and I keep expecting the fish to give a flick of its tail and swim away.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
