The ruins of Corfe Castle. This Castle was destroyed by Oliver Cromwell with cannon fire. It's usually photographed from the other side, showing the village in the foreground. I prefer this as it's less busy on the eye.

This would be a great place to poke around in...the ruins, I mean, although I do like to look at old graveyards if the stones still retain the dates and names of the people buried there. :)PJ
