I too am a great fan of close up shots, and this is no exception. The clarity is perfect, and I think in most macros that's a very important aspect, unless you're going for some other effect...how was that for diplomatic..lol...I like the colors and how Mother Nature is giving us this treat..nice job. :)PJ

I never knew bark could be so interesting. Wonderful details of this close-up view. It has a lovely design and makes a nice wallpaper. The pale peach color is very pleasing. Good job Ray, and thanks for making me a fan of bark :*))

I love close-up shots like this and bark on trees has such an endless variety of interest! Very delicately done and clear as a bell. Well done!
