It was the imposing features of the walls that drew me to this building, but it was the chimneys that caught my imagination. They look to me like apprentice peices, as they are all different. There are only a few in this pic, there are lots more and all just as interesting. Unfortunatly there was no one around who knew the history of them so I couldn't confirm my thoughts. However, hope you enjoy the photo.

Dear Ray,
This building looks very beautiful, old and interesting, the setting is charming and fresh so if it were not for the stray people walking there, I would say PERFECT !!!
LOL
Seriously I do not mind the people so much ...

This is a great capture, too bad you couldn't clone out the people, but very nice. Chimneys are interesting

This happens to all of us. Just as you are about to take that great picture, someone appears out of nowhere and enters into
your world between the camera and the object.
Must be one of Murphy's laws on photography.
In this case, it looks like the owners
of the manor are coming from grocery shopping :-)

I like the picture, though.

What an amazing building...it's fantastic and the chimneys do look different from each other. Wouldn't you love to see what the inside of this place looks like? Actually, I'd like to see some of the other chimneys you spoke of..great job and I gave it a very high mark in the voting booth....:)

I love to see great buildings that are built to enhance their surroundings. This building really does that here. Great eye and thanks for sharing!
