Maybe it's me then, cause I'm having a hard time seeing a ref so I can tell what I'm looking at, like the framing and/or focus is off.

I understand where you're coming from there. The focal point is meant to be the breaking of the wave onto the rock surface, but it doesn't really work as one because the spray is just...everywhere. Thanks for your insight.
