I tour the country doing my job. Coming back to this picture I took this summer always reminds me of home. It's always nice seeing a familiar city scape when I see others day in and day out

Wow, that picture made me kind of dizzy! It sems everything is at a different angle in the image. very well done the way yu pulled that off, most "crooked" pictures have a tendancy to just look like they were a quick shot on the go. Not this one, it is very intriguing.

People ask how I can spend so much time on a computer in a day. I ask how a painter can stand infront of canvas all day.

I'm sure that you will be happier with the comments you get on your pictures, if you make them straight. It's a pretty good composition, but really does need to be straightened. Check out the rules of photography click here. I hope this helps you.

I agree that most people prefer a straight picture, but this one is obviously tilted intentionally.
I think this picture has more value to you than to most of the rest of us. The colors are a little washed out. That may be due to the time of day or settings you used when taking it.

Hi Jordan, I too have a preference for a "straight" picture but this one works as an item of interest. I like the composition especially the trees on either side, the texture added by the yellow bricks in the foreground, the tallest building on the right, and the small canal or river meeting the rule of thirds. I agree with mapbc regarding the colour. Increasing the colour somewhat would capture the viewer's attention and draw us in more. Thanks for sharing.
