This picture was taken in Boise, ID on the way up to the Bogus Basin Ski Resort area. Most of the hillsides around Boise are flat like this for seemingly hundreds of miles. The city itself is intertwined amongst the trees, which are abundant nearby the Boise River in the heart of town. I just purchased a lens hood, which such prevent sun spots, as in this image, in future photos. Please pardon them for now.

Looks good...I just purchased a lens hood too and it came in not a daisy but a full hood for my telephoto...

Sorry to vent. It's always nice to hear about someone else's experiences, and to view some good results, so I am looking forward to your posts with hood on!

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

Christina,

Great capture! The sky is awesome. Also, don't be too concerned about the incidence of lens flare, sometimes it makes a good photo great.

Let's see more of ID, ok?
