A spring morning, early with a light fog still cast on the lake. Coffee in hand with Quiet, a wonder so near me. Could this be better? Shhh.. .........||......... I love soft light photography. I think that you captured this image perfectly. Nothing could be done to improve on it. Outstanding!!

Thank you all for your kind remarks. I really prefer argentic photography with my Pentax and a bag full of lenses in tow, but you gotta love digital. If you take enough shots you'll eventually get one that turns out right. :)

At this lake, Rob taught the fish to play soccer. He made a ball by rolling a piece of bread into a tighly packed sphere. Then, he tossed the ball into the shallow water near the edge. Amazingly, finned players zipped in from the murky sidelines and formed teams. The ever-shrinking ball was in play for nearly an hour before the players finally stopped, exhausted and full, and slipped slowly back into the depths. :-) Thank you for picturing this spot. Quiet

Something about this photo is very calming to me. Probably the smooth water. I just thinks it's wonderful and definitely a favorite.

Nice shot! Very calming and very clear, the fog looks perfect! The only thing, in my opinion is that I don't really like the framing, like if it were more to right fine but like this, it would seem better to be more centered, but other than I love this foggy scene!

This is a ten if for no other reason than that it reminds me of my childhood at camp on the lake in the foggy morning...but more than that...it's just an excelent shot both technically and artistically.

Excellent shot! What is the thing in the middle though? It kind of looks like the frame of what used to be a dock.
