This is the inside of Mezquita. It has more than 880 pillars like the ones that you see. The lighting was not ideal so I turned it into a "stain glass" pattern; my first experience of this sort!
I would like to see the original, even if it is a little grainy because you have some wonderful perspectives, contrasts and colours in this shot and I feel that the manipulation detracts rather than adds to what must be a very atmospheric photograph.
My first comment was based on the potential of the original. Having seen the original I am now inclined to agree with Rokh. It is not possible to really make good use of the original so using the effect has given it some life. Also it is a pleasing effect.
One can imagine what a tapestry of this would look like, and not much different from this shot I would imagine. It has warm colours and a certain richness to this this capture, which is pleasing to the eye. Well done!

When I first joined this site, all I had was old pictures from a film camera, and they weren't that great. I gave them a water color effect or an oil painting effect to cover up either grain or blurry spots or whatever. I think I even did the stained glass look once. I have since deleted them all. So...I like the idea of using the stained glass effect on this. It saves a picture from the scrap heap. This one that you have here has a lot of artistic value with your alterations. Good work.
