This action-packed, dramatic and lively statue (....that sounds like an ad for Arnold movies) is in one of the halls of the Louvre museum. A glance at it tells you it used to be outdoors, maybe in the garden of a mansion, or in a park,...and then brought back in the safety under a ceiling! It amused me intensely and I spent time on it as much as my children endured (about 35 seconds....a record long stretch of unbroken attention with them in a museum!). Unfortunately, I don't know the name of the talented sculptor. Difficult to dig on the internet. Hope you enjoy!

I remember it!..Great sculpture!!...To enjoy the visit at Louvre you must repeat it ,alone...smile!..:)...

Well, now we know, thanks to crysophilax. Very nice shot and it is very clear. That naked statue on the right looks like he is ogling that lady in the lavender shirt. LOL.
