I took this photo only last week. We were driving down south to Duluth, Minnesota. I stopped to shoot this and as I was preparing the camera I noticed a police patrol stopping right to my left. The officer was intent on me wondering why I had pulled over! I showed him the camera and pointed to the sunset in the sky; he smiled and waved goodbye!

This is one good reason to always have your camera with you, as sometimes the best shots are when you least expect them. This is truly a beautiful sunset you have caught here Rokh. Glad the policeman was able to understand that too!

Beautiful shot. Nice to have a concerned officer watching out. That's becoming a rarity in some places.

That's funny about the cop. I've never had that happen yet, although, while at a park last week, the park ranger was watching me pretty intently, wondering what I was doing on a snow covered beach. You got a really nice shot of that sunset. The clouds in the sky are great. Nice work.

When I saw the title I knew I had to take a closer look being I'm from Minnesota. The warm colors of the sunset are gorgeous & I love the silhouetted trees along the road. Believe it or not I have never been to Duluth, but I can vouch for an officer stopping ... I have had that happen to me also when taking pic's along the road. Must be a Minnesota thing. A wonderful capture ... I truly enjoyed it.

Amazing.. what a way to start your day... and glad that the police officer accepted your explanation. I'm sure he could see that it was an excellent opportunity for a creat picture... well done

I love the colors in this photo and the silhouettes. I had to take a look at this because I'm on border of Iowa and Minnesota and it's nice to see pictures from around my neck of the woods. :)

Were you on Lakeshore Drive? I have vacationed here many times and am actually from Minnesota. This is just beautiful.
