I have been working with some of my photos from this past season. Decided to make up a calendar for sale at www.zazzle.com with old tyme roses photos in it. All the photos in the calendar have been edited to gray scale with just a touch of coloring to add an aged look. Each shot a little something to take the viewer back in time to a point where color photography had not yet come onto the scene. Rose blooms still displayed a certain class and elegance even though their coloration could not be expressed. Hope you enjoy this workup from the calendar. For the Calendar click here

Looks good for any style of processing Stan...

another way would be to color the roses and leave background mono!...

A rose doesn't have to be in color to know how beautiful it is. These are so full like a lot of them on the older bushes. These are just gorgeous. Calendars are a great idea too.

Great looking shot Ace. Your rose calendar should be a hit.

The editing makes it really like a photo from bygone years Stan. The flowers look beautiful even without their colours.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
