You call them cranes over there? They look like the Canadian Snow Geese we have here. Maybe it's one and the same. I always love their formation. And, yes, the moon gives it a certain touch that's so very nice. Nicely done..verena
Wonderful capture, Susanne. They are long gone for me when I try to take a shot of them. You have the nice added bonus of the moon. This is just great.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

They must be on thier way to 'four miles' in Hilo, Hawaii lol. A great shot of the Cranes, and the moon looks small, but is worth a million. I love this one, Thanks for sharing

I can tell they aren't Canadian geese because they're forming a perfect "V". Have you ever noticed how sloppily CG fly? It's really such a shame..lol..
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Had this in VB and gave it a 10. Then I had to find it so I could fave it. Just an excellent photo. To get the formation and the moon all in one is excellent.
If I didn't know better I would have thought they were Canadian Geese but Sandi is right, Canadian Geese never fly in a perfect V formation. Nice shot.
