This is one from the archives, february 2006.
It is taken from our porch at the back of the house. It was freezing, -27 celsius or -16,6 fahrenheit. I loved the icicles hanging from the roof of the porch.
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Thanks to all my friends for the wonderful images I get to look at and learn from on Caedes every day. I always have something to say about them, but don't always have the time to record it. Please forgive me if I can't comment on all of your uploads.

Dunstickin hit it right on the nose! It's beautiful Susanne! You are an amazing photographer. Your composition and clarity are above normal. I love how you choose your angle and position before you take the shot. Well done. Thank you!
Truly great photo Susanne. As you know it's been ice deep around my neck of the woods. The icycles and the shape of the tree really look good together. You did good. Happy Holidays

This is a beautiful photo, but what I seem to like the best are the shadows on the snow...they are just awesome. And the very lovely icicles...it's a true winter wonderland...you did a lovely job with this shot..Verena
This is a wonderful winter scene. With the light and shadows, and the overall slight blue tone, it's just perfect. I love the icicles too. You got a winner, here, Susanne.
A beautiful winter scene with most of the possible forms of frozen water to be seen. I love the way you captured the sparkles of the snow. A very pleasant scene and well deserving of its index!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
