I took this from the bridge crossing the watercourse thrue the wetlands. I thaught the shadow play on the muddy water looked beautiful, creating stripes all over it.
In the background you can see the lake Hjälmaren.
This is very lovely my friend. I love the shadow play and the natural order of things in this wonderful image. This would be a place I would spend timea at too i'm sure of that.

I love the interplay of the reflections and the shadows. Its interesting isn't it how the brain interprets the screen image into depth? The shadows are definitely 'on top of' the reflections and on the surface of the water somehow, while the reflections are in their own space below the water. The muddy water too has its own place in all of this mix-up that essentially captures the real world for us as we look at and make sense of it all. A good image and the sense of the actual location is beautifully captured. Thank you. Tommy.

"Where there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~Dorothea Lange
Love the mingling of shadow and reflection, like different levels of reality, and then you look at the whole image and the glimpse of the water beyond is exciting too.
