Taken very early in the morning in august 07. I am learning about B&W and this is one of my experiments trying to convert in PS and make it look like using infrared film. Please tell me what you think about the result so far. All comments wellcome.

Good contrasts between the textures in this shot. Very nice.

I'm not a big fan of B+W, but to me this turned out beautiful Susanne! Very beautiful scene as well!

Think that B&W is underestimated. To me it's far more difficult to make a good B&W image than a colour image as the tones must be chosen very well. To me this is a B&W paradise Susanne!

I think you have done a good job. I`m not sure it`s quite infrared but it`s a very nice peacefull image and I like the tones. I was inspired by Jan to have a go at infrared photography last year....I was useless. Well done on this.

I have never tried infrared and take my hat off to those more experienced who try it. Well, from my amateur's point of view, this looks very good and nicely framed too. The reflections have not been lost and make the capture I feel. Well done!

Looks good to me Susanne. I truly like the effect. Looks like something from days gone by. Black and white reflections are somewhat ghostlike. Excellent work.

I like the effect you used Susanne ... brings out the textures nicely. The balance in monotones looks good, though personally I would have upped the contrast a bit ... just me. The composition is superb ... very well done.

I love the glow of the treatment and the poetic composition. The tonal range is lovely, and I think that this would make a subdued "infra". Great work Suzanne. :)

its a pretty shot, i like the tones, i agree with josette that is a subdued infa, when you use a real infra filter or camera, the greens would be very white, so where the foreground grasses and the reedy bits are white, the tree in the background would also be white. having said that, its still a nice shot, just not totally infra!
