This waterplant grows in a pond not fare from where I live. There are lots of them this time of year. I donīt know its name, perhaps anyone here knows? I am sorry for not having commented on your images for some time. Due to some health problems I have been very tired. I am better now and hope I can catch up. All comments are most wellcome. I thank you in advance for taking the time. Always greatly appreciated!

So sorry to hear from your health problems Susanne. Really hope it'll be soon better.
My first thought was it could be a species of the edelweiss flower but the edelweiss grows only on rocks in the European Alps (f.i. in Swiss and Austria) and it isn't a wapterplant like this one, so I can't give you a proper answer. The only thing I can say for sure that this is a wonderful image.
