Donīt know the name of these colorful flowers. Perhaps someone here does? I have not changed the color only added an effect to give it a painted look. All comments are most wellcome. I thank you in advance for taking the time. Always greatly appreciated!

WOW! That is one bright, vibrant color. I don't know the name of them either, they are very pretty and I like the painted feature you added. Nice job.

Think you have to ask Steve (Braces) as he is a specialist in these kind of Allium like flowers Susanne.
Great post again.
Regards, Cornelius.
PS: according to me my wife, it may be a species of the Allium indeed.

Yup, its for sure a type of Allium. My garlic used to come up looking like that, if I'd let it bloom, but the colour was a bit lighter. This is gorgeous. What a deep rich colours. A most lovely photo. Verena

These are Allium which I think are part of the onion family if I remember rightly. Either way, this is a lovely capture with great colour and clarity. Well done!

The general consensus seems to be that these are a type of Allium which I've seen before in connection with onions or garlic and always struck me as ironic considering how beautiful the flowers and how smelly the bulbs but a fabulous shot, Susanne and bursting with color.
