I find that some Graffiti is an Art Form in itself but most is just a waste of paint and Destruction of Public and Private Property. Some of the BEST work I've seen, and it was illegal, was on Trains.
Thanks for sharing your image.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

To bad they can't funnel this talent in the right direction. I think some cities encourage this in certain areas. Nice post Susanne.

It is an interesting photo and it is very colourful. Even graffiti can look nice when it is done by someone with real talent.

I have always looked at graffiti as art. Susanne you captured the colors & textures superbly. I like the angle also ... makes me wonder what the rest of the building looks like. Excellent work.

Best wide-angle lens? Two steps backward. Look for the 'ah-ha'. Ernest Haas

An awful lot of talent wasted on walls. Someone obviously has just too much time on their hands.

The people that do this should paint murals in designated areas of their city, not ruin buildings. Very ice capture of the graffiti, Susanne.

In the right place at the right time. It's just hard to imagine what the right place and the right time might be. Is it freedom of expression or defacing public property? It’s here. We can’t change it. The real question then is how to redirect it. Some of it is very artistic.
Thanks for the upload and the interesting discussion that followed.

Well, the only way to get rid of graffiti is to raise the buildings and make them "fly" above the ground! Then the huligans cant reach it! *lol*
But I rather have the buildings on the ground so that i can get in to them! :-)
I LIKE graffiti. It is a way for those unknown to make us notice!!!
I do not want to live in a "Disney" town!
But I sure agree that some of the gaffiti artist just leave their tag on beautiful and historic buildings for the fun of it.
Really great work Sefa! Very artistic. Just dont spray it on to the Al Caedes peoples house!!!! *lol*

Well, it's probably one of the better things you can do to an abandoned building. Adds lots of great color! Does make for an interesting shot, Susanne.
