Taken at the nature reserve by the lake Hjälmaren. The cabin you can see here is where we took shelter during the thunderstorm. It has big windows and glass doors so you can see what´s happening outside. There is also a fireplace, benches and tables inside. We had a good time there, eating our lunch and taking photos thrue the windows.

Extremely threathening sky Susanne. Glad you've found shelter in the cabin. Being the highest point in a rather open field, makes you an easy victim for being strucked by lightning. Very good post!

This is a wonderful 'weather' shot... the leaves are dripping with water and the sky is almost surreal. The little cabin looks like a friend in the middle of the storm.

I adore this kind of light Susanne, with a gunmetal grey sky that seems to intensify all of the colours underneath it. When you get a flash of sunlight through it, as you have here, the results can be stunning. I just hope you didn't get too wet!
