This kind of marshland is typical for the flatlands around my part of the world. There are a lot of birds here, but this day they were hiding from my camera :-). I shot this from the top of a bird-watching tower.

Beautiful scene Susanne. I like how the water flows in and out of the grasses. Is this part of the view one would see at the abandoned house? A great shot and the composition is excellent.
