This lochan or pond is located deep in the coniferous forests up in the hills. Me and my friend found it when we spent a day together in the forest. The dark water is typical for these ponds.

What a beautiful burst of bloom from these wonderful white water lilies. They make a nice contrast with the dark water.

I can see a fish meandering its way through the water lilies and making tiny ripples to totally enhance this great scene. A wonderful find in the hills Susanne.
