This is the sculpture "The Ark" made by the sculptor Olle Medin, wich I photographed at an outdoor exhebition up on a hill. "Konst på hög" means something like "Art on a Hill" or "A pile of art" in English. It is an exhibition of sculptures on top of a 100 meter hill. It is located in Kumla, Sweden.

All comments are most wellcome. I thank you in advance for taking the time. Always greatly appreciated!

When I was a child I loved to listen to the bible story of Noah's Ark and all the selected animals two by two. This post reminds me on those beautiful stories. Thank you for a very good photo! Mich

I like the sculptor's take on the Ark Susanne. The sky and the scene below makes a perfect backdrop for the fine shot. The texture is really good.

Now this is more like something. I can tell what it is and no representational BS about it. It's an ark! lol I like your shot of it, Susanne. I imagine that Noah's was something like this, but much bigger.

I like sculpture that is meant for a particular place. This fits the scene so very well, I think maybe that is the case here. Nice pic!

That a very unique wood sculpture. And...what a view from where it sits. Fantastic sky, and focus. You can see the textures of the wood very nicely. Pretty nice shot, Susanne.
