This old minor log-cabin is about 200 years old. This was the way they built them in those days.

Fantastic looking photo and love the grass on top of that building a very rare capture.Plus it people like yourself that save this place for the future as it will go one day.Great photo and thanks for the history.

200 years of time is very long. It seems it becomes part of the nature in that long time. Nice shot.

Back then they built places to with stand the test of time. Or in this case, with stand the plants growing on the roof. Nice shot.

I think they built structures very well back then so they could / would withstand anything. I like how the trees frame the log cabin. Wonderful capture Susanne.

Gawd, I hate cutting the grass in the lawn. I don't think I would also want to have the chore of cutting the roof too!!

Such an amazing sight for my eyes! Looks like mother nature is reclaiming the spot for herself. Almost seems as if the trees near are growing right through it. Excellent composition and details.
