Most appropriate photo for B&W. The sky is beautiful and looks very dramatic. The dynamic range of the grayscale in this photo is very good.

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Clouds always look so dramatic in B/W, Susanne. I never missed color in photos when I didn't have it and now it really looks retro. Love it.

I always enjoy you posts! I love how open this scene is. The big expanse of the lake and the clouds looks really nice! A great shot.

Susanne - The strong contrast of this b/w gives a dramatic look to the sky and water. Thad

Nice work, Susanne! I like where you've placed the horizon line in this photo. It shows off the dramatic sky and gives the sky the added importance it deserves in this composition. I also like the rocky shoreline in the immediate foreground. A nice range of tones in this shot, as well.
