Covered in ice crystals, waiting for the sun to warm it up. It is getting ready. So am I. lol That is one tall Rhodie, Susanne, or you were low in the snow. Looks really pretty against the sky. The lighting is really good too.

I hope the poor icy Rhododenron does not have to wait too much longer for spring, it does not look very happy right now.

Love the lighting on the golden bud. Great perspective also ... as if it's reaching for the sky. Beautiful capture, Susanne.

Susanne - This close up of the frost-covered curled leaves and flower bud against the blurred (nice dof) sky makes a pretty late winter scene. Soon enough, the leaves will straighten and lift and the beautiful flower will bloom! Thad

I love the light and angle of this shot, Susanne. The rhododendron has a nice warmth to it, despite the ice crystals. The sky provides a very nice background, as well.
