Spring flood in the wetlands. The floodgates are not enough to stop the water.

All comments are most welcome. I thank you in advance for taking the time. Always greatly appreciated!

With so much snow and ice to melt it is no wonder. Nice capture of the flooded landscape Susanne.

The last of winter. We saw this kind of flooding a week or so ago too. There was even a mud slide where my daughter lives north of here. It carried a car downhill. Your season change seems only a week or so behind ours. An interesting image.

I see that winter is finally relinquishing it grip on the landscape. A great wetlands shot, Susanne! Well-composed, and I like the vantage point you've chosen here. Well done!

Amazing scene here. What a winter we all had. After a hot Fourth we are now back to cloudy, drizzly and only in the 70's for the highs around here:( I love winter but the floods can be so destructive. Hope you fared well:):)
